Dean joined the team in January 2021 as an Arboricultural Consultant. His experience to date is within both the public sector as a Tree Officer and as an arborist within the private sector. This has given him a great level of understanding from an arboricultural perspective on both sides of the fence. He has delivered a wide range of tree risk management projects and advised on planning applications at the Council.
Qualifications:
- Arboricultural Association Technician Member
- Lantra Professional Tree Inspection Certificate
- Level 4 Diploma in Arboriculture
Wharton 101:
- Tipple of choice: It would have to be Cassis. Although I’m not much of a drinker and it often ends up 1 cassis, 2 cassis, 3 cassis - snore
- Interesting fact: I used to be a rockstar!!
- Childhood favourite TV program: Camberwick Green was definitely up there. I also have a mild obsession with the Harry Potter films
- If money were no object I would: buy lots of land and create an arboretum for my family to enjoy and to encourage younger generations to fall in love with nature.
