Elva is our first female Arboricultural Consultant who joined our team in March 2021. Her experience to date has been dealing with the arboricultural elements for projects on all scales; from large scale national infrastructure schemes, to more intricate arboricultural applications. This has given her a great understanding of the planning process, no matter the size of the job. As well as dealing with arboriculture for outline residential schemes, detailed design and EIAs, Elva has also had experience conducting iTree assessments. This utilises her holistic understanding of trees and the environment and the importance of the ecosystem services trees provide.
Qualifications:
- Arboricultural Association Technician Member
- Associate Member of the Institution of Environmental sciences
- Level 4 Diploma in Arboriculture
- 1st class hons BSc Environmental Science
Wharton 101:
- Depending on the day either a lager (any will do!) or a fruity cocktail
- Interesting fact: I play ultimate frisbee (yes, a real sport) where I have played at international tournaments
- Childhood favourite TV program: Tracy Beaker. She was my inspiration!
- If money were no object I would: I would travel more and do lots of sport around the world, especially surfing and skiing
