Jennifer Wharton

Jennifer is an integral part of the Roots Team at Wharton and Company Secretary. Jennifer’s strength is communication and is the link between clients and the team specifically during the initial parts of a project.

With her naturally positive attitude, Jennifer promotes our innovative approach and ensures that we continue to provide an excellent and professional service for all.

Jennifer is a creative horticulturist and garden/landscape designer with over 17 years of combined experience, within the public and private sectors. With a HND Landscape & Garden Design from the University of Central Lancashire & RHS Level 3 Horticulture, Jennifer has previously worked as a landscape officer within Local Government in Oxfordshire and Warwickshire, managing large areas of public open space, parks and gardens. She has also been instrumental in the development of playground design and engaging with young people and community groups. Because of her horticultural background combined with her design flair, she has the ability to create well planned and easily manageable outdoor spaces.

Since 2011 Jennifer has enjoyed her volunteer role as Regional RHS Britain in Bloom Judge for Heart of England in Bloom and previously for Thames and Chilterns in Bloom and Green Flag Award Parks.
